Doctrinal Statement
Bethany Christian Bible College hereby declares and
affirms its belief
- In the Divine inspiration, infallibility, and authority of the Old and
New Testaments
- In the Triune God, the Father, the Son and The Holy Spirit
- in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God
- in the sacrificial blood atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ
at Calvary and His bodily resurrection from the dead
- in the lost condition of every human being who does not accept
salvation by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ
We teach
- That the purpose of the church is to glorify God by building itself up
in the faith, by instruction of the Word, by fellowship, and by advancing
and communicating the gospel to the entire world.
- The calling of all saints to the work of service.
- That two ordinances have been committed to the local church: baptism
and the Lord's Supper. Christian baptism by immersion is the testimony of
a believer showing forth his faith in the crucified, buried and risen Savior,
and his union with Him in death to sin and resurrection to a new life.
- That the Lord's Supper is the commemoration and proclamation of His death
until He comes.
